Error: please choose a service #17

Is there something that's missing from the workflow that it is asking me to choose a service?

@AeliaJBL nothing is missing; I encourage you to read the “Setup” section of the README to learn what you need to do to configure the workflow to make requests from one of the supporting weather APIs.

I encountered a similar issue. I tried to make this workflow work for me for two days with both the ClimaCell and OpenWeather APIs, but neither of them worked. By following the instructions, I configured the APIs many times. However, I kept having this error message: Error: Please choose a service..

I finally solved the issue. It turns out I missed one step when configuring the workflow. The following are the steps to configure it:

  1. Apply for API key from the desired service provider
  2. Fill in the API key with wto
  3. Select the Service for the workflow to use with wto and hit enter
  4. Set other options, e.g. Icons, DataFormat, TimeFormat, Location, Units
