HA 2024.3 Issues with Z-Wave Multi Motion sensors #265

Closed chrgeorgeson closed 4 months ago

Describe the problem you're experiencing. What is happening, and what did you expect to happen?

After updating to HA version 2024.3, I encountered an issue with my Zooz 4-in-1 Motion sensors connected via my Hubitat hub. Previously, these sensors reported multiple parameters, including temperature, humidity, and illuminance. However, post-upgrade, the sensor entities for illuminance, temperature, and humidity have become disabled, and the sensors no longer report these metrics. Only the battery level, motion detection, and tamper alerts are still active and reporting correctly.

To Reproduce

  1. Upgrade the Home Assistant to version 2024.3.
  2. Observe the behavior of Zooz 4-in-1 Motion sensors (or similar devices) that report temperature and humidity through the Hubitat hub.
  3. Notice that the entities for temperature, humidity, and illuminance are disabled and no longer transmitting data, as depicted in the provided screenshots.

Well I'm an idiot.... I thought I checked the latest version of the Hubitat integration but I didn't... All is working great....of course. :)

Actually ensuring you're running the latest version of the Hubitat integration is key... who'd guess?
