Transferring multi megabyte file causes freeze #44

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create new folder
2. Drag and drop file of about 1.5 megabytes to initiate transfer

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Progress bar shows no progress at all even after 30+ minutes of waiting;
additionally iPhoneBrowser loses responsiveness and must be restarted.
After restarting, navigating to the folder in question shows a 0 byte
version of the file attempting to be transferred.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.5.2.0 on WinXP SP2

Please provide any additional information below.
When transferring multiple files, the smaller ones will transfer and the
progress bar increments to reflect that, but it will again freeze up when
it encounters a larger file.

As an addendum, this may be related to Issue 32. The end result is the same (0
byte
file created) although that report makes no mention of the interface freezing
up.

I am able to copy fairly large files (84MB) with no problem. Also, I have made
changes so UI will respond during large copies
