What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. grab SVN latest
2. ./configure --enable-pgi --enable-fftw --with-fftw=<PATH TO YOUR FFTW3 WITH 
FLOAT ENABLED> FCFLAGS="-fastsse -tp barcelona-64 -Mextend 
-byteswapio"CFLAGS="-fastsse -tp barcelona-64" LDFLAGS="-lmpi_f90 -lmpi_f77 
-lmyriexpress"

checking for Fortran compiler default output file name... configure: error: 
Fortran compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details.

This is on Triton.
