Hi, I got that error when triying to run this:

interp.rast<-machisplin.mltps(int.values=data, covar.ras=LST, n.cores=2, tps=TRUE)

where my data are 297 observations of temperature and LST a raster of land surface temperature from MODIS.

Thanks.
