Turned it into a gem called geo_pattern, based on the class name you were using, should probably rename the repo or the gem so they match.

Also spilt the SVG and Pattern classes into separate modules and added Readme and License.

Thanks @andrew, this is great. I've got the patterns up-to-date w/ the 7 we have in the JS version on Guides. I can now begin filling in the others.

Also, I'll update the repo name here as you recommended.
