A re-write of the firefly media server (mt-daapd). It's released under GPLv2+. Please note that this git repository is a mirror of the official one at git://git.debian.org/~jblache/forked-daapd.git
I upgraded to Ubuntu 14.04 (from 13.10) on machine A,
where I connect Rhythmbox to a DAAP share.
The server is forked-daapd 0.19gcd on Lubuntu 14.04
(machine B, which was upgraded from Xubuntu 12.04).
Problem:
RB on A can no longer play mp3 files located on B, if they contain embedded artwork.
The URL in the properties panel for such a file is .m4v instead of .mp3
For mp3 files on B which have no embedded artwork, DAAP streaming still works.
