A re-write of the firefly media server (mt-daapd). It's released under GPLv2+. Please note that this git repository is a mirror of the official one at git://git.debian.org/~jblache/forked-daapd.git
I'm running Mac OS X 10.7.3 and iTunes 10.6.1 on my workstation. I'm running forked-daapd 0.19gcd on a linux box (debian testing). The network is dual stacked IPv4 and IPv6. If I have IPv6 enabled on my workstation, forked-daapd fails to make any appearance in iTunes. If I set IPv6 to 'link-local only' in my workstations' network settings, forked-daapd appears in iTunes.
I have ipv6 = yes set in forked-daapd.conf, and both publish-aaaa-on-ipv4=yes and publish-a-on-ipv6=yes set in avahi-daemon.conf. I do not need to remove the IPv6 configuration from the linux box, I only have to disable it on the workstation.
I can provide packet captures and so forth, if you can provide me with some idea of what I should be looking for. Also, I can provide any logs you require.
