I have replaced my iphone 3G due to other issues (but photos were having
problems on
old phone too) and am using version 3.1.2 and Windows XP Home. I created a new
folder for just iphone pictures and re-saved a bunch of jpeg pictures into that
folder - now none show up. Before at least some showed up but they had this
weird
color banding across them (or showed up like a negative) when displayed on the
phone.

must be pretty nasty issue, being unresolved/address for more than 2 years...
Would be nice to have images show in "photo" camera roll.

I have same problem. I selected 20 or so jpgs, dragged them to Camera Roll
folder. They show up in iPhoneBrowser, but not on iPhone. What should I do?

CopyTrans is the best tool, forgot this useless application, it's only good for
hackers who modify IOS system, this is not for transferring media from/to
iPhone.

I have had very good results with iPhone browser. I actually like PhoneDisk
better, but support for that is ending. I think both work better with jail
broken devices, because you are able to access the root. If all you want to do
is transfer photos, just use finder or Windows explorer.
