How do I remove Ignored Files and Directory Paths from Project Settings #8

I mistakenly added a path from a directory outside of the workspace. Then after clicking "Ignore Above Path" and adding it to the list, I realized the mistake and tried to delete it. If I remove it the list in the Ignored Paths textarea, it just repopulates the next time I try to add a different path. Nothings gets deleted. Only added to.

Hi @kbanse. Thanks for letting me know. I believe this might be a bug with with Nova not properly saving when the UI element loses focus. I will report this to Panic and see if they can shed any light on the problem, but I sense this will have to be patched in Nova itself.

In the meantime, when you make a change to a text box try clicking into another text box before leaving the preferences. I am usually able to get the preference to save this way. Hope this helps!

A quick update. Panic confirmed that this is a bug in Nova and is something they will work on patching in the next release.

I understand this is still an issue in Nova 1.4. I will update Panic and continue to hope this can be addressed in a future release.

This issue still hasn't been fixed as of Nova 5.1. It has been some time since I reported the issue, so I will reach out to Panic again see if they can take another look.

I have contacted Panic again for updates. Will update with any new information.

This was resolved in the version 3.0 release by using different preference UI options.
