Previous Github Fix Not Working As Intended: Not Getting Gene Score

I noticed this issue a couple of years ago.

This fix is not working as intended. (https://github.com/jasonrohrer/OneLife/commit/1f1bf014ffa759ae8cb7cb4c59eca98ae315bec3) "Closed the exploit where you suicide as a baby to reap your mother and grandmother's long life genetic score. Now your mother and grandmother (etc.) only count toward your genetic score if you survive past age 3."

Instead of getting gene score from your mom and grandma (greatgrandma, etc.) if you survive PAST AGE 3,

you currently only get gene score from them IF YOU LIVE PAST THEM.

Example from today:

Neo Survant died at age 26.

But he died 13 minutes BEFORE his mother.

And you can see on his leaderboard that he did not get gene score from his mother.

Clearly, the previous fix is not working as intended.

Yes, this is intentional. You have to outlive them. There was a later additional fix shortly after that first fix:
