I made this issue for the sake of keeping all progress and communication in one place.

@pgleeson @sanjayankur31 I have almost finished adapting the del molino fI curves to the yao ones. I only to make some minor adjustments, except for the pyramidal cell curve, which is proving tricky. image image

This is the adjusted LEMS code. If I've messed something up please let me know. image

I am very confused about the connectivity though. When multiplying pcon with Gsyn, the values I get are tiny: image

Also, since there is a much larger population of pyramidal cells compared to interneurons, would this also play a role on the strength of the connections?

@pgleeson This is the finalised fI curve for the rate based model. It's as close as I could get it. image image

Looks good! Have a read over the relevant section of the Yao paper againa nd see if there are any other quick tests/demonstrations of functionality you can see mentioned there as other ways to illustrate that your network is behaving close to theirs.
