What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Increase speech rate to max and change pitch
2. Navigate, review, and read Gmail, Google search results, etc for a while.

What is the expected output?
ChromeVox Lois or any TTS should be very clear, intelligible, and understood
within most environments.
What do you see instead?
ChromeVox Lois is very difficult to hear, understand, is not clear, distorted,
muffled, and awful.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Google Chrome 14 stable on Windows 7 x64
Google Chrome Canary 16 on OS X Lion

Please provide any additional information below.
This alone will make people not use ChromeVox or any Chrome web app. eSpeak
should be brought over. Alternatively, elloquence is preferred by most users
and would make ChromeVox adoption sky rocket.

The Pico voice, which Lois is, is mostly designed for small speakers, or so
I've been told and mostly used for Android. I agree it needs some work for
headphone users/desktop speakers though, and becomes muffled even more at
highest speech rate.

This voice will not improve. However, we will definitely be supporting more
voices in the future.
