ChromeVox does *NOT* work (hasn't for past week or so)--no sounds/speech #39

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Mac/Windows Chrome 15 stable, 16 beta, or 17 Canary with ChroemVox from 
Chrome Web Store installed
2. Use ChromeVox to navigate, bring up help, go to website, find, list of 
elements, etc.
3. Try to re-install Chrome and ChromeVox

What is the expected output? 
ChromeVox to speak and make sounds

What do you see instead?
ChromeVox is broken/does *NOT* work--no sounds/speech.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Chrome 15-17, ChromeVox 1.1.15, Windows 7 x86/Mac OS X 10.7.2

Please provide any additional information below.
For past week or two, very issue has been confirmed by dozen and dozen of past 
ChromeVox users who relied on it to use Google Docs, Gmail, Chrome, etc. 

ChromeVox was an interesting experiment while it lasted.

ouch :)

Do you think you could follow up on this issue? Is this still a problem for 
you? It would be great to get more specifics...there's just no sound or speech 
at all?

ChromeVox 1.1.16.0 which you worked on, fixed a lot of bugs, revamped some core 
components, and pushed out via Chrome Web Store last week fixed this issue.
