This is a duplicate of #1832 @AlexanderLyNL #1832 is on your name, do you plan to implement it?
This is for the future. I don't think we should assign this to anybody yet. E.J.
This will take substantial research and it's on our long term planning. Making Bayes factors for these settings is easy, but constructing good ones takes a lot more effort.
I thought you were the best of the best! Nice new features in the new jasp by the way - thank you for your amazing work moving the needle in bayesian methods and accessible software that promote research
Hi,
Is there any ongoing work with implementing Bayesian MANOVA in Jasp? It would be a great addition!
In the mean time, (and sorry if this is off-topic) is it at all resonable to calculate multiple ANOVAs on each level of the dependent variable as a kind of bad "pseudo"-Manova?
@tomtomme it does not do much good to assign issues to me, as I lack the skill and the time to implement them. But I guess I can re-assign them. This one is pretty tricky though, as it awaits more stats development -- it is not a matter of implementing an existing R package.
I am co-assigning this to Don, not because he needs to do it in the near future, but so the issue remains on our radar (which it will, because we ar offering the classical MANOVA, and we want to achieve a complete Bayesian echo)
@EJWagenmakers I know. I assign only those issues to you, where I think your input is needed, since @AugustOlsson requested an update on the situation (and he is very active here). And I myself did not feel competent to give an update on the research-front of BMANOVA or to decide whom to assign this to. So thx for clarifying that this is still research area and the re-assignment, since this was exactly the goal :D
Thank you so very much!! I can't wait to see what you guys can do!!
