JASP reports credible intervals in Cohen's d values. Is would be great to get 95% credible intervals in both raw units and Cohen's d (in plots and tables) in future releases.
Purpose
1) To see the posterior probability distribution in both raw and Cohen's d units.
2) To perform Bayesian parameter inference on raw units.
In some scientific field the raw units may have more sense than Cohen's d units. For example, heart rate, blood pressure or BOLD signal change have better interpretability in raw units.
For example, one would like to see if the 95% Credible Interval (or Higher density interval) of the BOLD signal change fall within or outside the region of practical equivalence (ROPE) (i.e. [-0.01:0.01] BOLD signal change %). This procedure refers to the "HDI+ROPE" decision rule described in Kruschke (2018).
Use-case
All Bayesian t-tests
