JASP shows two empty raincloud plots after adding a second variable in the "Dependent Variables" box.

Expected Behaviour

After adding a second variable in the "Dependent Variables" box, two raincloud plots should be shown: one for the first variable, and one for the second variable. Just like JASP shows two plots for the sequential analysis.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open test.csv and click "Bayesian Independent Samples T-Test".
  2. Put variable "v1" in "Dependent Variables" box and variable "s" in the "Grouping Variable" box.
  3. Check "Sequential analysis", "Raincloud plots" and "Horizontal display".
  4. The graph for sequential analysis and the raincloud plot are shown.
  5. Add variable "v2" to the "Dependent Variables" box.
  6. JASP shows two sequential analysis plots, but two empty raincloud plots. ... test.csv.zip

Tested with 0.18.3. Seems fine now. Please reopen if not fixed on your side.

@djdekker Wait - with your data set, this is not fixed. Also classic t-test rainclouds can't handle your data. Your data structure is however very unusual.

@vandenman is this fixable or do we even want to fix this?

I am adding this to 0.19 so that I remember to test it then.

still valid with 0.19 beta. Build Date: Jun 18 2024 13:07:48 (Netherlands) Last Commit: a6131f3f59ec89e1804870d99b73e0e63803d8d9

This is now valid for rainclouds in
