What OS are you seeing the problem on?

Windows 11

Bug Description

JASP moves very sluggish opening files and barely runs any analyses. This happens on multiple computers. When zoom is closed, JASP starts running normally.

Expected Behaviour

The analyses are supposed to run regardless of being in a Zoom meeting or not. I cannot use JASP with my students in a Zoom meeting because of this.

Steps to Reproduce

1.Start a Zoom meeting. 2.Open a large JASP file (10MB+) 3.Run any analysis 4.Sit and wait forever for the analysis to run 5.Close Zoom, and almost instantly the analysis will run. ...

Log (if any)

@TDoerga If you want to add picturese, please use the github webpage. Attaching via Mail does not work. The System you use is 10 years old (the CPU at least). So the system bandwith between RAM & CPU is likely the bottlenek here, since a Zoom Call probably saturates the communication between RAM & CPU. And a CPU core running JASP also needs to communicate with a big data set that might fit into RAM, but not in the cache of a CPU core. So I am afraid, there is nothing we can do here. Your system is just to slow for multi-tasking operations like this.

Ok thanks for letting me know. I really thought that it was JASP as everything else still works fine. My students also all have the same issue, but I think they also don't have the newest systems. 👍🏼
