[Feature Request]: Auto-Save function and maybe automatic backup file creation (like e.g. in libreoffice) #2734

Description

Usually programs have some auto-save intervall nowadays

Purpose

Backup. This is a regular request of my students. They tend to "forget" to save, even when the program asks on exit.

Is your feature request related to a problem?

not loosing huge amount of edits after e.g. running out of battery during getting a coffee ;)
