[Feature Request]: p value function graphing #2929

Open JDatzmanDrPH opened 3 weeks ago

JDatzmanDrPH commented 3 weeks ago

Description

I think it would be pretty beneficial to add in p-value function graphing similar to R's pvaluefunctions package

https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/pvaluefunctions/vignettes/pvaluefun.html

Purpose

To improve the user's understanding of their orthodox statistics results.

Use-case

Wherever a p value is calculated the p-value function could graph the results similar to the package as an optional feature.

@JDatzmanDrPH thx for the request. I second it. I always find myself wondering how fragile / variable a given p-value is and how big its confidence interval would be and why its CI is not given with any software I know of - cannot be that hard to compute, can it? This would help a lot with not overstating the informational value of any p-value
