Hi. Anybody heard of not quite small project called "OpenBSD Ports WIP" hosted on Gitorious by Bernd Ahlers? Is anybody interesting in stopping decentralization and merging openbsd-wip and openbsd-ports-wip into one repo?

It hasn't seen much recent activity. I think most of the people who were active there have switched to this repo.

Yes, I talked to Bernd about it before setting up the github repository. He didn't have the time/interest in it anymore to handle the gitorious project.

I thought about importing the gitorious tree into the github one but decided against it... the "not quite small" gitorious tree hadn't moved at all in more than half a year, and had hardly been moving for a year. In the meantime the ports tree infrastructure kept moving forward which meant that almost all ports in the gitorious tree wouldn't build anymore on -current. I didn't feel like adjusting each and every one of them myself.

Instead I contacted various people who committed to the gitorious tree and asked them if they were interested in write-access to the new github project. They are all actively using the github tree now.

I hope this clarifies the situation for you.
