APM 2560 Communication error #333

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.load APM 1.0x
2.start Planner
3.Read EEPROM
4. result Communication error - no connection

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected loadin waypoints, get error

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
APM 2560 APM 1.0 software windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.

APM 1.0x is not compatable with the 2560.
