Jason, in Arduplane 2.26, waypoint reading and configuration reading is okay 
but waypoint writing is failing even when the APM1280 is hooked to the PC.

In Arduplane 2.27 Alpha, and with ATMEGA2560, Two way telemetry @57600 and 
@19200 is working well also no issue in waypoints read and write.

But in Arduplane 2.26 @1280, waypoint writing is not happening.

We don't support 2.26 anymore. It's working on the current code (2.27) so I'm 
going to call this issue fixed.
