More windows than oppened in preview thumbnails. #138

Hi ! First many thanks for the work. I've been waiting many updates to solve my problems because I didn't want to extend the soo long list but now I decided to post a new issue.

I've two problems. The first is with PlayonLinux that always show 2 windows in preview thumbnail and the second is with Thunderbird always showing more preview windows than really opened. With version 4.6.0 it worked fine with Icing Task Manager but not with the firetray extension that allow minimize on close button and put an icon to the system tray to allow Thunderbird window to be maximized and count the mails received., I always had more windows than opened when I used the Firetray icon. Now, I always have more windows than really opened. I precise that I have 2 mail accounts and ITM seems to show a preview window for each one.

And a new issue is that despite all windows are closed, counter "1" still remain on the taskbar icons...

Please provide the log files requested in the issue template.

I tried to reproduce this with the firetray extension, everything worked as expected.

Thanks for these. A couple suggestions - if you have one monitor, disable "Only list windows from the monitor displaying this instance", I suspect it still has some rough edges in single monitor scenarios. If you're able to, try upgrading to Cinnamon 3.4. I normally target the newest stable version of Cinnamon, and while I try to continue support for older versions, I test new changes with them the least. Normally I fire up a 3.2 VM to ensure it doesn't crash, and then release it.

Wine apps are always the most problematic because the normal API for grouping windows via wmclass can't differentiate them as easily, they're window backed most of the time.

Does PlayOnLinux have a desktop file for it? Trying creating a shortcut with ITM and changing its desktop icon to "playonlinux" in ~/.local/share/applications.

Hi !

I'm now using windowlist@cobinja.de since it solves the problem of dual thumbnails with Wine apps. I also solve by myself the problem with Firetray extension by checking an option into the parameters. I just miss the close button and the ability to change the size of the thumbnails preview. Perhaps you should work with him to produce the best app for the community ?

I'm pretty sure this problem could've been solved in ITM, but okay.
