Pin to Panel no longer works instantly

If this issue is a bug report, please list the follow information. If this issue has to do with theme compatibility, make sure you list which theme you are using.

Cinnamon version 3.4.6
Extension version Latest (just updated to make sure)
- Ensure this issue applies to the latest version of ITM found in the Cinnamon Spices repository.

Describe the steps needed to be taken in order to reproduce this bug.
1. Get CinnVIIStarkMenu (I know it happens there at least, it used to work in Cinnamon 3.2 BTW)
2. Try to pin something that's not pinned to the panel
3. You should notice the icon isn't Pinned, until you restart Cinnamon, unlike Cinnamon 3.2 days, where it was instant...

And you're on version 5.3.3? Its been working for me for a long time now.

PS: I don't know why SSR always splits it when I tell it not to... :/
