It looks like there's an extra pixel of padding at the top, and I'm only seeing it on Mint X variants. I'll see if I'm able to work in a mode for those themes in the preset section in settings.
I tried addressing this in 6.0.0 but I'm stumped. Its definitely theme dependent, and I'm using the same classes the other window list applets are, except window-list-box
, which didn't make much difference.
I tried too with v6.0.0 but the bug is still present. Maybe it is necessary to take a look how the theme handle the fact the panel is on the top ?

Hi, I don't know if it can help, but for the cobywindowslist there is not problem for the top of the panel. Is it the same mechanisms used in that applet ?
I've looked at it for clues the last time I tried to fix the issue. I'll keep investigating this one.
Icing Task Manager is no longer maintained. I have been wrongly banned from the Linux Mint organization, and not able or willing to contribute any longer.
When the panel is one the top of the screen, there is a one pixel height line which is above icons and which is inactive.
