Cinnamon version 3.6.7
Extension version 6.2.2
- Ensure this issue applies to the latest version of ITM found in the Cinnamon Spices repository.
Linux distribution Mint 18.3

Describe the steps needed to be taken in order to reproduce this bug.
- Launch kouchat or JDownloader, probably any java jar with a gui
- You have the expected icon, plus a JavaEmbeededFrame with the java guy It seems to be fixed in Default Window List with https://github.com/linuxmint/Cinnamon/commit/d001c1555062ab1e72ea49c6957929b8d5582826

Should be fixed, but you will need to untick "Include all app windows" in the settings.

The JavaEmbeddedFrame entry is back again. If "Include all app windows" is unticked now the JavaEmbeddedFrame stays in the list till the panel has been restarted or the option gets ticket on. If that option is enabled the entry will appear as well, but go away when the application has been closed.

Tested with JDownloader2.

Linux Mint 19 Tara Cinnamon 3.8.6 IcingTaskManager 6.3.7

@NoXPhasma Can reproduce. One weird thing I noticed is disabling the tray icon in the app's settings makes it disappear - could be a temporary workaround if you don't need it.

Thanks, that works and I will use that for now. Just mention me if you need me to enable it again for testing.

Icing Task Manager is no longer maintained. I have been wrongly banned from the Linux Mint organization, and not able or willing to contribute any longer.
