Fix problems in PR #76 and remerge them in, with a bump to version 1.6.4 #79

Note: I have attached a copy of the beaker-vue library as a .tgz packed file. To test, unzip the .tgz (zipped to allow uploading to github) and then run npm i ./beaker-vue-1.6.4.tgz.

beaker-vue-1.6.4.tgz.zip

This should fix all observed issues with the updates to allow the beaker-vue library to be built and packaged as a library and not just a webapp.
