To address your questions:

How do they know who's turn it is? Clock starts counting down and gets a light color background

Move history? Yes, at the top in the format of "1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nf6"

New game/concede? Menu

Other menu options I want to add:

• clock selection (1m, 3m, 5m, time control)
• enable/disable options (highlight available squares, highlight last move)
