can the project be temporarily decommissioned #33

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

This project appears to be dead, or at the very least, very inactive.
The only activity over the past few months appears to be comments
MEANT for the struts2-jquery (Johannes) project.

My concern is that visitors may (and apparently have) mistakenly gone to your
project for support and/or purposes of evaluating the project started by
Johannes. If the project is dead, and there hasn't been adequate time to
support it, can it be temporarily decommissioned till the time one gets time to
support it.

Merging the two projects would be better for the Struts2/jQuery community.

I am least bothered about this brilliant idea of yours (arw@...), for putting
it as "mine"...
I just felt that what you had put forward in johaness's forum made sense and
directed it to the appropriate channel instead of crying foul at some other
place...

arw@...: Be careful when you use words like "plagiarize"

plagiarism: The unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and
thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original
work. (dictionary.com)

I care very little that you pasted my forum post here. I replied to the post
because in my original forum post, I didn't suggest deleting this project. If
I hadn't replied here, a person who read your original message here and my
forum post may wrongly assume the authors are the same person. That's why I
called you out for plagiarizing. This thread should end now before it becomes
asinine.
