@gerglane: you can use BTstack GPS on the iPhone 4 with 5.0.1. Also I don't
think it ever worked on iPod Touch 3G with 5.0.1 (if yes, I could just go back
to that). (I don't have the 1.6 version handy but you could use 1.5, too:

I tried that version and it didn't work at all - GPS was going crazy
1.6 does work perfectly as long as you know the labels etc or set the route
before enabling BT Stack!!
Would be good to get the original 1.6 if possible....

I have the same problem with my iPod 3G. Setting the route before enabling
btstack doesn't work for me, so I'm wondering whether it has anything to do
with btstack at all...

We're getting there, a used iPod Touch 3G from ebay was delivered to a friend.
(also, please use the older version 1.5 linked above until it's fixed).

I met the missing label issue too, ipod 3G 5.0.1 + BTGps 1.6.1.
I tried to use http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5138628/GPS-1.5-25900.deb, but
BTStackGps will quit.

Weird, I thought I had posted about first results. Anyways. Here's a new
GPS-Support.dylib for people eager to test:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5138628/GPS-Support.dylib - you have to remove the old
version before copying the new one into
/Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries/
This fixes the labels in TomTom and Nike+ GPS. It also properly adds the GPS
capability to the iOS (avoids problems installing apps that "require GPS")
Please let me know how well it works. I'll release an update ot BTstack GPS in
the next days with that version.

I cp the file overwriting the old one and i rebooted my ipod. It seems to
work (now i can see the label! :) ), but I have to try with the gps
connected (now I'm at work and I can't 'cause of walls!).
I 'll let you know later.
Thank you!

last May.
