In the medium term, easybook should be 100% compatible with Leanpub service. We are almost there, but Leanpub has added some cool features to the limited Markdown features and we must add them too.
The purpose of this feature parity is that:
Authors which have already published a book on Leanpub, can easily switch to a custom self-publish solution.
Authors that already use easybook to publish their books can also publish them on Leanpub without any modification.
The Leanpub manual is the reference that explains all their syntax and features.
