Editing a module out of advance placement shows up in ST2 #9

When editing the year of a module that is initially in advance placement, it gets automatically placed to year 1 ST2 if i key in the command edit bt1101 y/1. This action of defaulting to ST2 was not mentioned in the UG, and also makes the action of allowing year without semester when changing from advance placement to another year a little redundant as the user will then have to edit again to edit the semester.

Team's Response

This action of defaulting to ST2

We are unable to reproduce this behaviour.

Editing a module from the advance placement does not default it to ST2. The semester is retained from when it was added / edited into advance placement.

Your original command probably added the module to ST2, which was why it was edited back to ST2.
