XBVR's only JAV metadata souce is R18, which hasn't been updating VR releases since the beginning of June. This means that users are unable to catalog new VR releases using XBVR. However, one can use the "Import" function in XBVR to import JSON formatted metadata, that essentially tracks what Javinizer scrapes and saves as nfo files.
Bonus feature - optionally concatenate all scraped metadata from a javinizer search command into a single JSON file - XBVR is able to parse the individual titles from a "Content Bundle" which would allow users to skip some steps when importing batches of files as a single bundle rather than one at a time. sivr content bundle.zip

Here's an example of a proper JSON formatted "Content Bundle" that XBVR can ingest: https://files.catbox.moe/1hylzn.json
