System Log time resets to Jan 1 00 after router reboot, NTP not working #1179

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open system Log from Advanced Settings (RT-N56U) from web interface
2. Observe time after reboot - resets to Jan 1 00
3. Try setting different NTP servers within the Administration area of the web
interface, doesn't fix system time in the system log

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output would be the current date and time, sync'd with NTP servers.
Instead Jan 01 00 is the time in the system log

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.0.3.7-079. Issue can be reproduced within any web browser on any platform.

Please describe the problem as detailed as it's possible.
If you have connection problem, then syslog file is required. (please do
attach it as a file)
Note that if there will be a poor problem description the issue status will be
changed to 'Invalid'!

This is not a major issue, just a cosmetic one. NTP time synchronization in the
latest RT-N56U firmware does not set the correct time within the SYSTEM log.
This is problematic when troubleshooting router issues since the system log
time defaults to Jan 1 00 and does not correct itself after NTP time
synchronization intervals.

Because of the router doesn't have an internal battery after reboot and
poweroff/poweron cycle it lost the time settings.

Thanks for adding this "Added support store system time to Internal Storage
(/etc/storage)" feature.

It is turned "on" by default, and can be found in the Web UI under
"Administration - Settings", section "Router Internal Storage (/etc/storage)",
label "Save Current System Time to Internal Storage?".
