1.downloaded and installed RT-N65U_3.0.3.8-086_full.zip

3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
We always had the option of AIDisk activating asuscomm.com or No-IP.com
to activate our NAS as an FTP server, being able to connect from outside our

Windows 8

Please describe the problem as detailed as it's possible.
If you have connection problem, then syslog file is required. (please do
attach it as a file)
Note that if there will be a poor problem description the issue status will
be changed to 'Invalid'!

I've understood nothing from this issue... Don't know about what button you're
talking about.
What is the problem? Problem to turn on ftp service? Or problem to configure
ddns? Or what?

Hi

I guess defining DDNS might be the correct term here.

I can find to create xxxx.asuscomm.com, which enables the user to remotely
connect t0 the FTP server.

The older firmware versions did have the Aidisk option were these DDNS
addresses could be created/defined.

I hope this makes it more clear.

http://my.router/Advanced_DDNS_Content.asp
It always was available with the address above.

Hi,

Many thanks.

As you can see, there is no WAN and or WAN DDNS option in the menu

I hope you understand why I was asking.

Sorry, but I don't.
You can open WAN in the left side menu. Then you will see DDNS - the last tab
in upper menu.
