Hey, 
hope I am right here. Is there a simple possibility to get a Usenet-client 
installed? I read something about Putty and entware and optware but I really 
have no idea what all that means :-\

I think I in the next release Sabnzdb would be fine ;-)

I hope I did nothing wrong here...

You can find usenet-client in Entware:

There is article in Wiki with detailed instructions on How to setup Entware. 
Sabnzdb won't be included to the firmware. It is written on Python o_O
