I am not sure if you would consider this a Defect Report or an Enhancement
Request, anyway here is what happens.
I switched over from r304-250 using a WBFS partion to WiiFlow v4.0.2 using a
Fat 32 and later testing a NTFS. I noticed that wiiflow would lock up if I
tried to change the theme from default to Starlight or any other theme for that
matter. Once I started digging around I noticed it kept crating a folder on the
usb base (usb1:\wiiflow). So I figured out I could get it to go back to the SD
if I started wiiflow without my HDD plugged-in & then pluged it in after it
says "Install Game" & "Select Partion" but each time I shutdown after playing
it defaults back to the usb. I saw "Issue 444: r304 wiiflow ini settings and
folder problem" and it said
" This is by design. Wiiflow always install covers and settings to the first
writable partition it can find. You can change this behaviour by doing two
things:
1. Have the boot.dol in sd:/apps/wiiflow/boot.dol
2. Have a wiiflow.ini in sd:/apps/wiiflow/wiiflow.ini, and set the line
data_on_usb=no"
but the .ini file on my sd card doesn't say "line data_on_usb". I didn't want
to go back the using the WBFS partition because I would have to covert all my
games back to .iso.
Sorry if this message is confusing, also if it makes a difference I am using a
WD 1TB Passport for my external HD.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Eric
