Reference class Fasta parsing is really inefficient and error-prone #1

You might consider just using something like this: https://github.com/mdshw5/pyfaidx. If you are planning to keep developing this project I'd be glad to help clean this part up.

Thanks for the pointer to your project. I was unaware of it. I do plan another release toward the end of the summer, and will replace my code for accessing reference sequence with yours. Thanks.
