Hello Patrick,
Thank you for your time over the call today. As informed, it is expected behavior that the previous search results are retained in your Experience Builder due to the browsing cache. It works similarly to making any search in the browser, such as Google, which retains and populates your previous search history.
Spoke to esri on 9/12/23. Esri tech support thinks this is a cookies issue. Looking into whether we can force prompt refresh of map.
