jInput not working on non-windows systems #1

Users' controllers are not detected (keyboard, gamepads, etc) on any OS
other than windows due to the appropriate JNI libraries for jInput not
appearing in the classpath (and JNLP).

Should be working on Mac OS X now... Linux is still questionable. has anybody 
tried
it there?

I'm running Linux (ubuntu 8.04), with JDK 6, I'm trying to use the Freetar.jar 
but
there are no controllers to choose.
