In the #139, I added TODOs about linking to the definition of VAEs (e.g., definition.md). As far as I know, there are other places where linking between sections would be useful. This issue is to track 1. identifying a strategy to link between sections and 2. applying that everywhere we'd like to use it in the manuscript.
