As discussed in meeting on May 11, Figure 4 as it currently exists is a bit difficult to read in the rendered pdf. We came to the conclusion that we should split it into 2 figures: Figure 4ab -> Figure 4, Figure 4cde -> Figure 5.

I think that reorienting it so what is currently a/b panels are on top of one another rather than side by side (and similar for c/d/e) should also make the figure a bit larger in the rendered pdf.
