Even better if it was possible to automatically extend timeline to display all 
tracks
of data.

Starting with rev 1630, a Timeline can be automatically re-sized to the minimum 
width 
needed to show all of the data. The auto sizing takes into account band 
resolution, 
label length, event overlaps, etc. See the change file.
