if I have a php file, and I want to comment in an html, comment as php

Thank you for opening a issue. Now, block-comment package decides comment style based on the file extension. This is going to be changed soon :)

But remember that you can comment block of html code using shortcut key "cmd + /"

Any updates on this? Especially for Javascript blocks within HTML files?

Same happens with inline javascript. "cmd + /" works as expected.
