If you have a webpage rendering issue (aka bug in QtWebKit) it should be filed
on
bugs.webkit.org. If you are unsure you can file it here and we will let you
know.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. go to arora-browser.org
2. type ab (or any two characters) in Search projects
3. observe the text box goes solid black. I have occasionaly seen a mix of dark
blue and black that barely allows reading the underlying text

Move the mouse away, and the text is normal again.

In the larger textbox, I only see this phenomenon if I click and drag to
select,
and then drag back; the area left behind is solid black in the same way.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

0.7.0 on debian squeeze/sid

Please provide any additional information below.

I have tried under xmonad (my normal env) and fvwm (a newly created user, no
other
applications running)

This might be fixed by reinstalling all *qt* packages, doing a full system
upgrade, and rebooting.
Also, I replaced the display manager ("slim") with plain xdm.
