Updating RAZOR_WIND to be inline with the rest of the powerful attacks. #2

Currently RAZOR_WIND is 100 bp, 80 accuracy, 5 pp, and no effect at all and it is still the strongest flying move which makes it considerably weaker than the rest of the most powerful moves of any given type. Fireblast for example is 120 bp, 85 accuracy, 5 pp, and has a 10% chance to burn. HYDRO_PUMP is in a similar vein at 120, 80, 5 though it doesn't have an effect. Earthquake is a really powerful move with 100bp, 100 accuracy, and 15 pp so my suggestion would be to either raise the accuracy of Razor Wind to 100 and add +10 pp or bump it to 120 bp and give it an effect worthy of 80 accuracy.

Hiya, this is the creator. You've been super helpful in finding errors, and I'm pumped for you to change whatever you want, but Razor Wind was made into a Cross Chop clone, with 100 BP, 80 Acc, 5 PP and a high crit rate (last part is only found in another file.) I used Cross Chop instead of stronger moves like Fire Blast as a basis because I wanted to keep with the game's ethos of keeping strong physical moves to 100 BP, and the accuracy is imperfect because unlike Earthquake there are no immune switch-ins.

Again, make literally whatever changes you want! But wanted to point out what my motives were and correct a mistake to give you a clearer idea of where I was coming from. Thanks for all your help!

Ah, my bad, I didn't think to check if it had a higher crit ratio. The way gamefreak balanced these old game, and by that I mean not really at all, makes this really more complicated then it should be. Aeroblast is a 100 BP, 95Acc, 5 PP move, but it is a Lugia exclusive(signature move) so it has a high accuracy when it really should be the flying equivalent of Cross Chop. I think the major reason the fighting type moves have such terrible accuracy has a lot to do with how powerful they made they're attack stats. A Machamp with a 100 Acc Cross Chop would be insane, but there really isn't a Max/Min equivalent to Machamp in the flying category...well I take that back, Dragonite and Gyarados. Of course the only flying move Gyarados learns is fly by HM and well Dragonite is a Pseudo-legendary who only learns wing attack and fly by HM. So Razor wind wouldn't need to be balanced in the same way as Cross Chop if they don't get access.

Side note, did you intend for Gyarados to learn RAZOR_LEAF by level up? I'm guess that was a typo. I'm always happy to help, it's dev's like you that make the poke hacking community as great as it is. I was thinking of doing something different and maybe doing a Pidgeot only run or flying only so I was curious as to Razor wind changes.

Rats, yeah that should be Razor Wind on Gyarados! Will edit when I get the chance, thanks for the heads up.

I see Razor Wind as being fitting for Cross Chop because Flying is a pretty stellar physical offensive type, especially thanks to Falkner giving a boost early on. Drill Peck is there as a strong reliable move with higher PP, and frankly Wing Attack is to me the ultimate early game move, with 35 friggin PP and 60 BP, so an unreliable but mighty move fits the new archetype for me. If you'd rather have an alternative (especially considering Razor Wind is already a changed move) I'd love to see how another effect fares!

The Pidgey line has one of my favorite little tweaks: they learn Sonicboom just in time to be super helpful against Falkner in a hardcore nuzlocke. Any game I'd make that has physical/special split would make Pidgeot a special attacker, so I wanted to lay the "groundwork" for it here.

Also, if you haven't tried Slugma, there's a ton of Magcargo love in this!
