user authentication #7

Was thinking that since this is a really, really simple app, we could just do user authentication entirely through a third-party service

Google sign in, github, twitter, openID, ...?

We can target this app specifically for software people and just have github authentication Or we just roll our own very simple email/pass system

ideologically i dislike requiring people to have gmail to use it, I know some very smart people who don't use gmail for legit reasons, but I also think it would be very suitable for MVP

Github is a bit exclusive for our org, but we all have @commitchange gmail accounts. Idealogically I wish my computer could just scan my eyeballs. :stuck_out_tongue:
