Disable the save button when there is nothing to save #32

The "Save" and "Save and Close" buttons should be disabled when there isn't anything to save.

Also there should be a hint how to select an item to be saved if the buttons are disabled.

People (including myself) often forget to click the link button and only select the item to view the details. When they then click "Save" it looks like the tool didn't work because they expected the selected item to be linked/created.

Disabling the buttons and adding a hint should be enough to fix this issue.
