chore: fix code spell errors

pre-commit is raising code spell errors

• ignore AUTHORS- we don't need to spell check names Savin was raising an error
• fix misspelling of compatibility in CHANGELOG.md
• ignore assertIn from the python unittest library.

I commented out codespell in order to merge #1425. Will need to circle back here and make sure there aren't other codespell issues.

@n2ygk I corrected all the code spell errors, It should be passing here, but I also wouldn't be opposed to removing it.
